Foundation Awards $2,300 to Programs in Millbury

The Foundation today announced the awardees of its 2017 Mary B. Grogan Fund for Youth. The Mary B. Grogan Fund for Youth, created in 2001, in dedication of Mary Grogan's decades of leadership in the Worcester County 4-H Foundation, specifically benefits young residents of Millbury. Those organizations receiving funds this year are:

  • Millbury Memorial Jr./Sr. High School for its Earth Links service learning project.
  • Millbury Public Library to support its Animal Vacation Program.
  • Mohegan Council Boy Scouts of America for the Treasure Valley experience, a year
    round activities program at Treasure Valley Scout Reservation.
  • R.E. Shaw Elementary School scholarship aid for the class trip to Camp Bournedale.
